Once we arrived in Paris we were staying in a hotel right next to a park that is known as ''Jardin du Luxeumbourg. From there we were able to take a nice stroll around the park when we were walking to the subway. The Jardin du Luxembourg is a park that is well known around love couples and students. In this park you will find chairs that you can place on the location that you desire, in the park there is also a open air cafe, a musicbooth, tennis court and even a doll theater.
Arriving with the metro at the Chancelise when you are walking upstairs from the underground. The first thing you will see is the Arc de Triomphe. The arc de Triomphe is well known as one of the most famous lookout points of Paris, and is also known for the huge traffic that goes around the monument. The Arc the Triomphe is also known as the famous finish line of the Tour de France that happens here every year.
Once on the Chancelise, you will be amazed by the amount of luxuary shops and luxuary cars at the side of the street. The street is well known as one of the most prestige streets of Paris. This is mostly contributed by the ammound of cinema's cafés and luxuary shops. It is known as one of the most famous streets around the world and has a avarage of 900,000 euro per 100 squarmiles for every year of rent. ( The only street that has a higher rent is Fifth Avenue in New York )
Because this street is famous because of the rich and famous people it attracts. When the McDonalds arrived and Starbucks it hurted the reputation of the street. Because this happend the minestiry of France made sure to ban shops who could harm the image of the street. This was shown with H&M in 2007 that was banned by the goverment of Paris because they wanted to open a store there.
